Most Common Ultimate Play

Horizontal Stack (Ho-stack)

Ho-stack is one of the most common setups on offense in ultimate frisbee. It consists of 4 cutter lined up horizontally, about 10 yards in front of the handlers. The 3 handlers also set up in line. The goal of this formation is the move the dic between the handlers and find open cutters upfield. For the two middle cutters, they should be cutting in a diamond pattern (See diagram), and the side cutters (the rails) move within their space until its their turn to make a cut in the middle.
